I am an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience. I have worked in a variety of NHS and independent health care settings. I am dedicated to lifelong learning and providing high quality, safe and effective patient care which I bring to my aesthetic practice.
My philosophy and job is to listen to and understand the needs of my patients and what you want to achieve through chosen treatments. Your chosen approach will be tailored to your needs and best available treatment to meet your expectations and goals. I believe in embracing the natural beauty we all born with.
As a nurse, patient safety has always been my number one priority. This can be through the high-quality training and education required to provide treatments, the use of high-quality products to the importance of stringent infection prevention and control. I ensure all aspects of the patient safety agenda are met.
I want my patients to enjoy their experience with me. I am friendly, approachable and easy to talk too ensuring my patients feel relaxed and at ease during their experience. I think it is important to listen to and understand my patients wishes, expectations, concerns and worries. I pride myself on my ability to communicate with empathy and understanding. I need my patients to fully understand risks and possible side effects before consenting to chosen procedures.
Nothing is more satisfying for me than to see patients happy with their treatment results and the difference this makes to them. This goes beyond the technical skills of non-invasive or invasive treatments. I endeavour to ensure patient satisfaction is achieved at every visit, if my patients are not happy, they simply just have to get in touch with me and we can work together to address this with no questions asked.
Anti-wrinkle treatments use a Botulinum toxin, there are a variety of different brands of Botulinum toxin but the most commonly known is Wrinkle Relaxation, this is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. This toxin blocks the transition of chemical messages sent from the nerve to cause muscles to contract. Anti-wrinkle injections are a convenient way to gently relax your muscles and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a fresh youthful and rejuvenated appearance. If you are considering anti-wrinkle injections, you must ensure that you only do so after a full clinical consultation and you must ensure that you have been made aware of all the alternative treatment options, relevant facts, potential risks and complications before proceeding with the treatment.
Can Wrinkle Relaxation be used as a preventive treatment?
Yes, anti-wrinkle treatment can be used as a preventative. Muscles shorten when they contract in the face. This causes the skin on top to crease. Over time, these creases begin to form fine lines and get deeper. Anti-wrinkle treatment prevents certain muscles from contracting, allowing the skin on top some respite and non-movement. This prevents the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Dermal fillers are composed of a gel-like substance called hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally-occurring molecule found in your body and has a natural affinity with skin tissue. They are injected beneath the skin to restore volume loss due to the aging process, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve facial balancing, and enhance facial contour and proportions. Following treatment, the hyaluronic acid breaks down naturally over time. Dermal filler treatments are also reversible.
Treatment areas can contour and bring volume to cheeks, smooth deep lines and wrinkles, rejuvenate tired-looking eyes, enhance chin and jaw profiles and restore volume in lips while still maintaining a natural appearance.
Treatment is minimally invasive, with little to no downtime. Depending on the type of product and area being treated results may last 1-2 years. The results are tailored to suit the patient, using more or less filler as appropriate to create a look that subtle enhancement. You will notice visible, natural looking results immediately after your treatment.
Skin boosters are the new wave of cosmetic injectables taking over the aesthetics market, they are designed to replenish the skin, with a focus to hydrate. Although they are made up from the same dirivitive as dermal fillers being hyaluronic acid they do not change the structure of your face, or the movement. Skin boosters aim to make the skin look fresh and glowing. Treatment outperforms even the best skincare products on the market today this is because ingredients are injected into the skin, they can go much deeper. this means water can be drawn into the deeper layers of the skin to promote collagen production.
Injectible skin booster is a real ‘say what you see’ umbrella term and can be administered to the face, neck, decolletage, neck, and hands . This group of injectable aesthetic treatments floods the skin with beneficial ingredients in order to boost certain facets of it’s appearance – primarily, hydration and glow. The best-known boosters – Teoxane Redensity , Juvederm Volite, Profhilo, nuceofill and lumi eyes – these and many more on the market are all formulated with the hydration molecule hyaluronic acid (HA), which is also found in facial fillers. Some skin boosters have additional vitamins and minerals added for maximum benefits.

Enhancement treatments can help individuals improve their physical appearance and boost their confidence levels. Natural enhancement treatments can provide subtle changes that enhance natural features without looking overdone or artificial.
These treatments are all about improving the appearance of your skin – whether that be uneven tone, pigmentation, fine lines or simply giving it a glow or ‘fresh’ look. Weather your looking for a refreshing express facial or a deeper exfoliating cleans and peel all treatments are tailored to meet your skin care requirements. Our chemical peel treatments provide a stimulating, revitalising and peeling effect to the skin. It’s thanks to this exfoliation that it is able to promote the turnover of cells and stimulate new production to counteract the effects of ageing, and some forms of scarring, on the skin.
Chemical peel treatment utilises the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients to deeply exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin. The treatment involves a controlled skin peel that sheds dead cells from the top skin layers, boosting the synthesis of brand new cells triggers new cell growth through the stimulation of wound repair on the skin. This natural healing response stimulates elastin and collagen production resulting in smoother, clearer, brighter, firmer and radiant skin with an even skin tone. There are a variety of skin peels offered tailored to resolving different skin complaints such as adult acne scars, uneven pigmentation and wrinkles.
Benefits Of Chemical Peels
Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat. Mesotherapy involves a series of chemical injections with short, fine needles that target the middle layer (or mesoderm) of skin. Mesotherapy uses a variety of substances in their injections, including plant extracts, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, hyaluronic acid, hormones, enzymes, and prescription medications. Depending on the formulations, these bespoke cocktails aim to do everything from treating hair loss and minimising fine lines to tightening loose skin and reducing the appearance of cellulite and excess fat—particularly the double chin.
Transferring these substances directly to the skin helps to renew the skin by stimulating the structures such as collagen and elastin, and administering blood circulation, lymphatic circulation and immune response in the concerned area. The more accurate rates are obtained, and the more sessions are performed, the more successful the results will be.
Microneedling in mesotherapy is a procedure that is used to encourage collagen production using small, sterilized needles. It helps smooth, firm, and tone skin and improve the appearance of scars, acne, and wrinkles. Microneedling is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime. It’s considered safe for most people who are in overall good health. You can experience minor redness and irritation for a few days after the procedure with each session lasting about 30 – 40 minutes, you may need multiple treatments for the best result.
Lipolityc mesotherapy or Fat dissolving treatment utilises injections of a natural substance to help shift stubborn pockets of fat, which are not easily removed by diet or exercise.
This treatment is a highly effective treatment for reducing localised fat deposits, coupled with regeneration and improvement of skin elasticity. This treatment is not designed as a substitute for losing weight. Instead, this treatment is intended to complement a healthy lifestyle, so for long-term results, you will need to maintain a balanced diet and regular exercise alongside this fat-reduction treatment.
The main component of the fat reduction injections is deoxycholic acid, this is a secondary bile acid found naturally in the body. When deoxycholic acid is injected into the subcutaneous layer of fat, it disrupts the fat cells and causes them to dissolve permanently. They are then released and drained away by your lymphatic system, which is why I always recommend drinking plenty of water after your treatment and avoiding alcohol.
The injections used are not combined with local anaesthetics unlike other mesotherapy products, often other fat dissolving products can only reduce fat cells, this treatment attacks and destroys them , therefore avoiding the so called yo – yo effect. The fat reducing injections accelerate the metabolism and melts fatty tissue in a health friendly and most natural process, increasing elasticity, removing cellulitis within the body. Best of all only one injection is required to start the fat reduction process, however you should have a course of 4-6 treatments with a 10 day interval between cycles of treatments.
